What Is Trail Cutting?
Trail cutting creates usable paths through wooded or overgrown land — for ATVs, walking, farm equipment, hunting access, or maintenance corridors. Forestry mulching equipment cuts and grinds a clean path in a single pass, leaving a mulched floor that holds up well and suppresses regrowth.
Standard trail width is 8–12 feet — wide enough for an ATV or side-by-side. Wider paths for farm equipment are available and priced by linear footage.
Trail cutting follows any route you mark or describe. Walk the path with your PM at the site visit and the crew follows it precisely.
